10 Worst Performances In Awesome 2017 Movies

5. Emma Watson – Beauty And The Beast

Beauty And The Beast Belle
Disney

It seems critics the world over were enamoured by Emma Watson’s turn as Belle in Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast but we have a sneaking suspicion that Disney may have cast some sneaky enchantress-like spell over them because – truth be told – there was something decidedly lacking about her performance.

Sure, Watson certainly looks the part of a Disney princess but she falls at the first hurdle. You see, the first rule of starring in a musical is actually being able to sing but if Watson’s robotic, autotuned vocals are anything to go by then singing really isn’t her strong point.

That’s not the only issue with Watson’s performance though. Maybe it’s because she spends so much time interacting with CGI characters but all too often she comes across as wooden and awkward while delivering her lines with all the passion of a damp tea towel.

It’s not just her singing that should’ve been dubbed over – it’s her whole performance.
