6. Superman - Justice League

Oh Justice League, what a mess.

What was supposed to be DC's version of The Avengers ended up more like their version of Howard the Duck when all was said and done.

It flopped at the box office, chopped and changed directors a bunch of times, and the fallout from Joss Whedon's alleged on-set behaviour was still being felt long after the film's release.

In the midst of all that, it's easy to forget that Superman comes back to life.

In Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Supes gets himself killed by a big monster thing. That's honestly the best description there is of it.

Anyone who actually thought Clark Kent was gone for good has clearly never picked up a comic book in their life, because Superman never stays dead. There's even an arc called "The Death of Superman" and he doesn't even die properly in that!

The Man of Steel comes back in Justice League when Batman uses something called a Mother Box on him (don't mention mothers around that guy, he won't like it).

It was uninspired, it was boring, and it was obvious from a mile away.
