Seriously, what's with all the horror franchises that think it's okay to craft sequels about characters that weren't in the original movies? There are four of them on this list alone! The Woman In Black: Angel of Death, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, Insidious: Chapter 3 and now this, Sinister 2, which we totally don't need at all. The first film starred Ethan Hawke, you'll remember, and was fairly good aside from a relatively naff ending. But do we require another blandy horror film about a family moving into a haunted house, only to find that it's a haunted house? Not really, guys. Scott Derrickson, who directed the first movie in the franchise, also wrote this one, but directorial duties have been handed over to a man named Ciaran Foy. Don't know about you, but that's not the name of a man you can really trust, is it? Expect this to be the second of at least four Sinister movies.
