The way people go on about Ted, it's as if it was some kind of comic revelation - one of the best and most accomplished comedies ever made or something. Truth is, Ted wore out the "hilarious" nature of its premise (that there's this foul-mouthed, pot-smoking teddy bear, we guess?) pretty quickly, which just left a whole bunch of time for a series of very, very hit and miss gags. And most of the good jokes were in the trailer, too. It's true. Watch it. But Ted made heaps of money at the box office, because the general public are super into ideas like "foul-mouthed, pot-smoking teddy bears" in movies written and directed by the creator of Family Guy. Seriously, though: what is there to do that the first movie didn't? The first movie didn't even do what it was supposed to do all that well! Anyway, Liam Neeson's in this apparently, so we guess that makes it super amazing or something.
