Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins adapated a long-running series of books centred around the thrilling exploits of U.S. government operative Remo Williams, a practitioner of "Sinanju", a fictitious martial art that gives those who wield it nearly superhuman abilities. If the character of Remo Williams took off then the U.S. would have its answer to the deathless James Bond franchise. Despite the bold promise of it's title, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins met with critical and audience indifference and the world still waits for Remo's continuing adventures.
