10 Writers Who Should Tackle The Justice League Movie (Other Than David S. Goyer)

10. Andrew Kevin Walker

Kevin Spacey Seven

I'm going to wait for a moment before continuing on here. Any fan of HBO's Entourage would know that Andrew Kevin Walker was the writer behind James Cameron's Aquaman. That said, I was half joking about his inclusion when I started to write this. Now, it's not even half. Ultimately, the man is known for his work on high-profile thrillers such as Se7en, 8mm, and - more recently - the screenplay for the failed Wolfman flick. Walker has also been attached to write the adaptation of The Girl Who Played With Fire, which would reunite him with director David Fincher. With the current talent involved in the film, and the direction being taken, it may not be too far off to believe that a Justice League movie may be more of an action-thriller than a full on action flick. Christopher Nolan started the trend of realism that carried over into Snyder's Man of Steel. The realistic approach to these characters has allowed for a more deeply personal story where the action is only second to the plot. If the trend is to be continue with Batman Vs. Superman (and beyond), a down to earth Justice League may be perfectly complemented by the writing of Mr. Andrew Kevin Walker.

I'm a fan of pop-culture in all mediums: Music, Film, Gaming, Comics, TV, Whatever. I can generally find something enjoyable in even the worst trash. I guess as a B-Horror enthusiast, I kind of have to. Currently I'm an author working on a manuscript for a crime novel, and attending school to be an Environmental Health and Safety Technician. In the past I've made a go at running in an election for MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) for my hometown of Glace Bay. I was 23 at the time, and though I lost (by like a lot), I learned a lot more about politics in a month than I ever learned. Get at me on Twitter @DanWilsonWC
