2. Klaus Kinski's Daughter Claimed That He Raped Her When She Was A Child
Creepiness Rating: 10/10 Klaus Kinski is best known for his filmic collaborations with writer/director Werner Herzog. Together, they made a number of pictures in which Kinski portrayed violent, erratic psychopaths of the manic variety (or characters close to that description), the most famous of which are perhaps Aguirre: The Wrath of God and Fitzcarraldo. Kinski has always been famous for his temper and aggression, of course, but recent revelations have cast a shadow over the actor's reputation. In 2013, the actor's daughter, Pola Kinski, now sixty, claimed that Kinski had raped her when she was between the ages of 5 and 19 and had remained silent for years out of fear that nobody would believe her:
"He started touching me and kissing me with an open mouth when I was quite small, around five or six years old. As child I always had to keep my mouth shut because he was always threatening me. And I was dependent on him, on his affection. all over the world fathers do the same thing with their daughters."
Though Kinski is no longer alive to dispute or confirm these claims (he died in 1991), it's horrifying to hear that the actor was potentially involved in such disturbing events.
