4. The Acolytes

Everybody always focuses on the Brotherhood Of Evil Mutants as being Magneto's gang of choice, but the Acolytes are just as interesting. Whereas the Brotherhood are brought together on an almost equal footing and stand side by side with Magneto, the Acolytes live up to their title as devoted followers who will do anything and everything to satisfy their master's will. The Acolytes would really shine in a Gambit film as it would show the greater impact of Magneto's actions and rallying calls to mutants. Fassbender or McKellen wouldn't even have to appear, as a cinematic version of the Acolytes wouldn't even have to be in direct contact with the master of magnetism, just admire him from afar. If Gambit has been living a life away from the greater struggles of the mutant race then having a group like the Acolytes show up in some way would not only be an easter egg, but also a way of bringing it closer to the main franchise.
