10 X-Men Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Off

1. Quicksilver

Quicksilver stole the show in Days of Future Past. Without hyperbole he stole just about every scene he was in. What could have been a fairly lame character (did his D.C. equivalent get much love prior to the launch of his own show?) turned out to be incredibly entertaining, thanks to a smart, light-hearted approach to his abilities, and solid casting. Evan Peters was the right man for the job, and rode in off a wave of success from his appearances in the American Horror Story series. With Peters currently something of a breakout star, and the character having gone over so well in Days of Future Past, this is a movie that makes sense. There's his connection to Magneto to explore (hinted at in the film), and though the character will also turn up in the next Avengers movie (portrayed by a different actor), there's plenty of room for a standalone film helmed by Peters.
