Brad Pitt has long tied-back hair and it's tied back because he's rugged, and a strong father figure who will do anything for his perfect family. Seriously, his performance is great, why hadn't he done a zombie film sooner? His character, is a former UN employee with high-profile connections, giving us a look at the world government's response to the zombie outbreak.

After winning the rights to adapt the 2006 book of the same name, the production wasn't without its issues, plagued by extensive re-shoots, last minute re-writes, and creative disputes. Despite all of this, the film turns out to be a thrilling action-horror feature, with the now dominant fast zombies multiplying at a scarily fast rate, so vast that they act as ramps for other zombies.

The film isn't without its flaws, but it's easy to overlook as the film builds tension through some outstanding set pieces. The expedition to ground zero in South Korea, and the section of the film based in Jerusalem are totally engrossing. The plane crash scene felt slightly redundant and quite unbelievable, but it is a zombie film after all, so why not set-off a grenade on a plane?

I watch, then I write. It could gory horror movies or confusing yet loveable cult hits like Donnie Darko. So have a look at what I write, or don't. It's fine, I don't mind.
