7. Sam Elliott is Revolver Ocelot
Sam Elliott may not be the most famous actor in the world, but he was instantly the first name that sprang to mind when considering who could play the gun-twirling psychopath Revolver Ocelot. Consider the evidence; with his horseshoe moustache and grey hair, he bears a striking physical resemblance to Ocelot, and with his gravelly, deep voice, he is also a strong aural counterpart. Add to that Elliott's tendency to be cast in westerns in gunslinger-type roles, and you have what seems to be a perfect fit for the role of Solid Snake's most prolific foe. Of all of the MGS characters, this is the one that feels perhaps the most like a slam dunk; it is difficult to imagine who could be better-suited to the role in every way than this man.
