4. Ryan Reynolds
After his breakthrough in Van Wilder it looked like Ryan Reynolds could be the reincarnation of Chevy Chase nobody asked for, but he managed to prove himself in both comic and dramatic roles; he even made Blade: Trinity bearable. He finally got his shot at a big franchise with Green Lantern and he looked perfect for the role, but the movie was a big disappointment and plans for a franchise were quietly scrapped. The failure of the movie tainted his stock for awhile, but after the success of Safe House he became a hot property again; so signing on for the turkey that was R.I.P.D was a massive mistake then. Things looked bleak for Ryan until his test footage for Deadpool leaked; the internet went crazy, the film was finally greenlit and went on to hoover up money at the worldwide box-office.
