Despite the vast amounts of money spent on promoting Hollywood's finest, they do tend to get a fair bit of bad press. Re-tweeting an appeal doesn't count either, especially since there's a high chance their assistant did it. Nor praise those who simply used their mobile to call the emergency services because that just makes you someone who displays the most basic humanity, it's not an act which should earn anything more than a standard thank you. No, the actors on this list have all personally come to the rescue in life-threatening situations.
