5. Gamora's "Resurrection"

No character was given a more peculiar treatment in Endgame than Gamora, whose 2018 version in fact stayed dead, while her 2014 equivalent was brought into 2023 alongside Thanos' army.

Gamora is curiously absent at the end of the film, though Star-Lord is last seen plotting a course to seek her out, as will likely be a major plot point in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

This invites two distinct possibilities for the character - either she'll find a way to somehow regain her dead memories, or more likely, we'll have to deal with Star-Lord trying to convince this new version of Gamora to love him.

It's going to be incredibly tough to pull off either way, given that to many fans this new Gamora may as well be an entirely different person.

Of course, it's possible that Gamora actually is gone from the MCU for good or will only have a minor cameo in Guardians Vol. 3, but it's clearly going to be broached one way or another in the near-future.
