Again focussing on the horrors of the corporate world, the film follows its title by pitting eight candidates against each other whilst completing a hiring examination for a lucrative job role.

The eight are locked in a small room, the timer is set for 80 minutes, and they’re all given three rules: don’t talk to the invigilator, don’t talk to the armed guard at the door, and don’t spoil your paper. There’s only one question to answer - but upon examining their papers, there’s nothing to indicate what it could be.

Functioning as a mystery as much as a horror film, the potential employees must figure out what is exactly expected of them before time runs out. With such an important job on the line however, it isn’t long until the competitor’s true colours are revealed, and the exam gets stakes much higher than pass or fail.
