11 Characters Absent In Avengers: Infinity War And Endgame Who Were Missed

Let's face it: If Goose was a real cat, there's no way she'd still be alive after the 23 years that passed between her appearance in Captain Marvel and the events of Infinity War. But, fortunately, she's a Flerken, which means that - for all we know - Goose could still be alive for years to come within the MCU.

Though she was last seen living her life with Nick Fury (and coughing up the Tesseract) by the end of Captain Marvel, where she's been since is a mystery. Kevin Feige has suggested that she's still out there, even jokingly suggesting that a Disney+ show could be made about what she's been up to, but the fact that Goose proved to be one of the most popular things about Captain Marvel, both in its marketing and in the movie proper, shows that she's a character fans would love to see stick around.

While there wouldn't have been a great spot for her in Infinity War considering that she hadn't been introduced yet, a small appearance in Endgame would've been great.

With the Avengers aware that Nick Fury had been dusted and having retrieved his pager, a throwaway line could've been made about how they had taken in his cat, too, with Goose now residing at the New Avengers facility only to be seen consuming Outriders in the background during the final battle with Thanos and his army.
