During the medical "tooling up' sequence in Michael Bay's silly but splendid Armageddon, drill driver Max is presented with what looks quite frankly like a gigantic, unnecessary syringe full of urine. Naturally disturbed by the presentation of such a daunting weapon, Max offers the following challenge:

"You stick that in me, I'll stab you in the heart with it. Have you ever seen Pulp Fiction?"

A funny throw-away joke, but how exactly are we supposed to reconcile it with the fact that Bruce Willis and Steve Buscemi appear in both films? Fair enough, Buscemi's appearance was a disguised cameo (as waiter Buddy Holly) but presumably in this world Butch was played by someone else other than Bruce Willis.
