11 Hilariously Bad Death Scenes In Otherwise Awesome Movies

10. Tracy Mills (Gwyneth Paltrow) - Seven

Boba Fett Death
New Line Cinema

The Scene: While the death of Detective David Mills' (Brad Pitt) wife Tracy (Paltrow) actually occurs off-screen, it's revealed to both David and the audience in horrifying fashion, as John Doe (Kevin Spacey) has a box brought to Mills containing her severed head.

Why It's Hilariously Bad: As brilliantly as David Fincher stages the scene and as chilling as Spacey is here, Brad Pitt's howlingly bad performance makes it hard not to laugh throughout what is otherwise a totally horrifying reveal.

Pitt's whiny moans of "What's in the box!?" and "Oh God!" combined with a ridiculous cry-face make it seem more like he smelled a bad fart than just found out his wife has been murdered by a psychopath.

Still a great movie, but still more of a chuckle-fest than it should be.
