11 Huge Issues That Might Ruin The DC Cinematic Universe

3. Audience Fatigue

The next five years alone have almost 30 comic book movies pencilled in for release, and as such one has to consider when audiences might start getting fatigued with all of these colourful characters, universes and so on? While fans might want to deny it, the run on comic book movies is absolutely a bubble that will eventually burst, and Marvel Studios have been quite fortunate in being right in the middle of it. They've been raking in the billions for the last 7 years, while Warner is pretty late to the party, releasing one film in 2013 and their second one next year, 8 years after Marvel started their continuous stream of hit movies. While the bubble won't be bursting anytime soon, Warner will suffer by not getting the ball rolling faster, and there's even simply the possibility that two concurrent comic book worlds will just be too much for audiences to cope with, and they'll stick with the winning formula that is the MCU.
