3. Dumbo

Why We're Worried: Of all the planned live-action adaptations of Disney films, Dumbo has to be one of the toughest to get right, considering how little the original film relies on human characters, and how the quality of the visual effects will totally make or break the movie.

Plus, Tim Burton's direction, and his potential desire to controversially alter Dumbo's design, could always go either way.

Why This Image Rocks: At this past summer's D23 expo, Disney unveiled a model showing off the new design for Dumbo in the Burton movie...which looks remarkably - and surprisingly - similar to its animated counterpart.

It's cute, simple and not over-designed like a lot of remakes tend to. Though we probably won't see the first snippets from the movie for quite some time as it's not due out until March 2019, at least the spirit of the original creation seems to have been faithfully retained.
