11 Irresistible Movie Moments That Wore Out Your Pause Button
8. Who Framed Roger Rabbit - Wardrobe Malfunction
Who Shot Roger Rabbit is a bona-fide classic, melding animation and live action perfectly, and featuring some of the most enduring characters in modern cinema. The fact that one of them - Jessica Rabbit - regularly features on lists of cinema's sexiest women, despite being a cartoon character tells you all you need to know about that universal and almost transcendental appeal. And seemingly recognising the appeal of their best asset, the animators "hid" a raunchy little secret in one of Jessica's shots in the original cut, which features a very brief glimpse up the sexy sprite's skirt for a couple of frames. As Jessica is ejected from the taxi after a crash, she inadvertently flashes the camera, proving without too much doubt that she chooses to go commando. The scene was originally uncovered when Laserdisc player allowed inquisitive fans to skip through the film frame-by-frame, following on from rumours concerning the particular scene, and though Disney never openly admitted their guilt in the inclusion of the offending scenes (they blamed it on a trickster animator,) they did edit it out in subsequent releases. But you can still enjoy the Basic Instinct style shot if you own early releases.
