11 Lame Comic Book Movies You Had No Idea Even Existed

3. The Fantastic Four (1994)

10243271_ori You gotta feel sorry for the guys who got cast in this movie proclaiming to be about the Fantastic Four, a flick created for the sole purpose of "re-securing the film rights" to these iconic characters, and one which was never intended to be released for public consumption. In retrospect, the actors were likely overjoyed that this never went to theatres, because it gave them the chance to pursue successful careers without its horrific reputation weighing down their chances. None of them did that, though: who are these actors? Still, a lot of people think that's there's some things to like about this interpretation, which sees our titular four (Mister Fantastic, The Invisible Woman, The Human Torch, and The Thing) going up against their arch-nemesis Doctor Doom. For a budget of $1 million, it's sort of impressive, in that "they managed to make something out of nothing" kind of way. Most of the original prints have been destroyed now, because somebody genuinely wanted this movie erased from history (how many movies can you say that about?), but you can still check it out on YouTube. Which you absolutely should, if you somehow possess the power to "reclaim lost time that you poorly chose to waste."
