11 Major Cameos To Expect In Avengers: Age Of Ultron

2. Loki

Idris Elba managed to confess not only that he was in the film, but also that Tom Hiddleston was filming the same sequence. In his interview with the Telegraph the imposing English actor risked some hot water by broadly revealing what he'd been doing for the film:
"I€™m in Avengers. And I€™m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston."
Nice work, motormouth. It had been assumed that Loki wouldn't appear, but it should go down well with fans for even a brief cameo by Hiddleston, who is easily the most compelling of all of the MCU villains so far. Why He'll Appear Again, because Idris Elba so casually ruined the fact that Loki will appear with him, it's either a case of him appearing in Thor's vision from Wanda (though a vision that confirms that Loki is still alive would be ridiculously contrived - like Batman getting plot details from his own imagined vision of Ra's Al Ghul) or finding out that Thor is in Valhalla. If it's the latter though, he will presumably have to be out of his Odin "costume", or it would have been Anthony Hopkins filming rather than Hiddleston, and it wouldn't make sense that Thor was filming the same scene. Either way, there's some plotting needed to fill in the gaps, but those two suggestions feel the most relevant.
