11 Marvel Cinematic Universe Films That Should Appear Beyond Phase 3

2. The Sentry

sentry Sentry is a very interesting character who, despite having been around in the Marvel universe since its inception, was only introduced on-panel in the year 2000. He is insanely powerful - possessing a Superman-like powerset in addition to more esoteric abilities such as mental powers and matter manipulation. Indeed, he made the world forget about him, which is why, when he first appeared in a comic, the story went that he had always been around - and indeed personally knew all of Marvel's main heroes - but had mentally manipulated everyone in to having no memory of him. This would make for a very interesting origin movie. He could be the big gun the Marvel cinematic universe's heroes need to aid them in future battles against cosmic threats. Sentry is said to have fought Galactus to a stalemate €“ Galactus being the devourer of planets and a character capable of destroying galaxies. He has defeated the Molecule Man at his own game (matter manipulation) €“ and bearing in mind Molecule Man is a MASSIVELY powerful character, this is no mean feat. It essentially means that he could turn most villains into a pencil. Strength-wise, he's powered through the Crimson Bands €“ a powerful magic restraining spell which the likes of the Hulk have failed to escape from €“ and, with one hand, casually stopped a swing of Terrax's axe-wielding hands €“ the same attack that has destroyed a planet before. He has destroyed a planet with his energy flares, which can also be seen in the normal world whilst he is in a microverse, which is an INSANE feat of power. What makes him even more interesting is his evil alter-ego - the Void - which is a dark, benevolent being that can do things like break every bone in Hulk's body, kill an amped Loki with ease and shrug off attacks from numerous teams of superheroes at the same time. This is the movie that I would like to see most. Get it done, Marvel!
