Even less likely than an Avengers Vs X-Men crossover, sadly, is the possibility of a Marvel Cinematic Universe Vs DC Cinematic Universe crossover - but, by God, wouldn't that be epic? Henry Cavill's Superman against Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Ben Affleck's Batman against Chris Evans' Captain America or Mark Ruffalo's Hulk against, potentially, Dwayne Johnson's Green Lantern - just imagine how absolutely awesome that would be and how crazy comic book fans would go for it. Of course, the Avengers and the JLA - Marvel and DC's two flagship superhero teams - have gone up against each other in the JLA/Avengers comic book crossover, but the likelihood of the same battle ever occurring on screen is less than zero. The Marvel Cinematic Universe will never, ever join forces with Warner Brothers' DC equivalent.
