6. Return Of The Red Skull

The Red Skull is the definitive Captain America villain and Hugo Weaving gave a very decent performance as the Nazi super soldier in Captain America: The First Avenger. People would like to see him return. The end of that movie saw the Red Skull disappear in a flash thanks to the Tesseract. This led some people to believe he had perished, but the possibility that he was simply absorbed in to it or sent to the other side of the universe has also led some people to believe he would be back. In fact, it was rumoured that Robert Redford's character - Alexander Pierce - in Captain America: The Winter Soldier was the Red Skull in disguise. However, since the film's release, those rumours have been quashed. Plus, Hugo Weaving has stated that he did not enjoy the role and does not want to return and there is also the fact that Marvel seem to be moving on to bigger things, so a Red Skull return in any form seems unlikely.
