Spider-Man switched sides midway through the Civil War due to Tony Stark's actions, and that could now happen on the big screen. Stark was revealed to have been using the armour to monitor Spider-Man and was also revealed to be holding anti-registration heroes in the life-draining Negative Zone, both of which irked Spider-Man enough for him to rebel against the billionaire and join Captain America's side.
