2. Gollum Reborn

You can't get moved in Britain at the minute for talk of Brexit and Theresa May, and while entertainment news and politics don't always overlap that much, this week has seen the world's collide thanks to Andy Serkis and Gollum.

The famed performance capture actor revived his performance as Gollum while dressed as May to parody the Brexit situation and it's both remarkably funny and very, very odd.

The video, which is titled "Leaked: Footage from Inside No. 10 Downing Street," sees Serkis debating the merits of the latest Brexit deal including such glorious lines as "Oh precious, our agreement, this is it, our deal, yessss, yesss. We takes back control, money, borders, laws, blue passportses," The agenda here is to push for a people's vote, but whatever, it's just nice to see Serkis playing his most famous character again.
