1. James Wan Wants To Make A Batman Horror Movie

With Aquaman heading to cinemas, director James Wan is enjoying some adulation for what he's done with the sea-faring character. And it seems he's not done with comic book movies, if he has his own way.

Speaking to Heroic Hollywood, he revealed that he's like to make a Batman horror movie:

“In the past like most people I loved the idea of directing Batman, but a horror version of Batman. That would be a potential fantasy of mine, but I feel like he’s been done quite a fair bit. But, I do love the idea of doing an outright scary Batman. I feel like that’d be really cool.”

Wan infused Aquaman with some of his horror movie-making experience and he'd be a hell of a candidate to bring the darkness to The Dark Knight. it's just not all that likely.

Sadly, even with R-Rated movies now working, it's hard to imagine that Warner Bros would be particularly keen to make a full-blooded superhero horror movie - particularly with a character as marketable to kids as they think Batman is. But then, imagine not thinking that a Batman horror movie made by James Wan WOULDN'T be a great idea.

The horror director has also apparently revealed that his haunted Annabelle doll is hidden somewhere in the background of Aquaman, so keep your eyes peeled for it.
