11 Most Untouchable Teams In Movie History
7. The Hot Fuzz Duo
Everything in the seemingly,
oh-so-harmonious town of Sandford could have remained “peaceful” if only the
nosy sergeant from London hadn't shown up to join forces with the naive Danny to
investigate the obvious murders disguised as accidents.
Yet after an attempted murder Angel is able to trace through the trails and unveil a conspiracy stemming from the Neighborhood Watch Alliance or NWA. And once the curtains fall and the evil machinations of the NWA is revealed, this unlikely duo gear up and get to it in a half hour of squealing tires, sirens, and one or the other shootouts disturbing the peace and nudging Sandford out of its tranquility.
Towards the end of the movie, in the sequences spawning one strange chase scene after the other, it is not the dark humor nor the fact that Wright makes the best out of the altering of perspectives by stretching out every cliché to its extreme that makes for an amusing viewing experience, but rather the contrast between the slightly irritated big-city cop Angel and the frenzied hillbilly, Danny serving as the catalyst of the story.
