11 Movie Spoilers We Didn’t Know Last Week (April 18th)

2. Valkyrie Is Probably In Thor: Ragnarok

With Natalie Portman not appearing in Thor: Ragnarok and Jaimie Alexander sadly not reprising her part as Sif, there's a lot of room for strong female leads in the movie.

We know that Creed's Tessa Thompson was cast in the film this week, and rumour has spread that she may very well be playing the Asgardian warrior Valkyrie. Not only would it be awesome to see another a**-kicking female in the MCU, she also has a romantic history with the God of Thunder, and if the two did end up hooking up, it would seem much more organic than the atrocious Jane Foster love-in.

There's sure to be some racial controversy over Thompson's casting if she is indeed playing the part, but if the movies can survive the ridiculous Idris Elba-Heimdall uproar, she'll do just fine.
