8. Mera Will Appear In Justice League

It's been rumoured for some time and was finally confirmed by Amber Heard this week: the gorgeous actress will be appearing in Justice League Part One as Mera, the Queen and wife of Aquaman, ahead of an appearance in the superhero's solo movie in 2018. Heard's feisty, jaw-droppingly beautiful and has solid acting chops to boot, so this seems like pretty spot-on casting. She probably won't have a significant role in Justice League, but expect Aquaman to delve much deeper into her character and relationship with Jason Momoa's seafaring hero.
