As the release date for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice fast approaches, the leaks are starting to come out, be it revelations about what we'll be seeing in that R-rated home video cut, to some insight on how the Caped Crusader can stand up to his Kryptonian frenemy. That's just one movie, though: Marvel dropped a bombshell of their own this week, while we also caught wind of an unexpected cameo in a big upcoming film, and may well have learned when we'll find out the title of Star Wars Episode VIII (as well as some stabs at what that title could be). It's one hell of a time to be a film fan, with so many anticipated projects either already in front of cameras or gearing up to begin soon. Whether they'll all live up to the hype or not remains to be seen, but this week reminded us that there's plenty to be excited and (cautiously) optimistic about.
