2. David Hasselhoff Will Appear In The Baywatch Movie

With the R-rated big-screen Baywatch reboot currently shooting, lead Dwayne Johnson dropped the bombshell that the series' legend that is David Hasselhoff will be appearing in the movie in some capacity. The film, which Johnson has touted as "The Avengers meets Anchorman", reportedly requires The Hoff to get into beach bod shape, so it's safe to say that he'll be getting in on the action rather than just walking on to wink at the camera, and will hopefully be playing his iconic Mitch Buchannon character. If the movie hits the right 21 Jump Street-esque notes, this could be another R-rated revival that really works. With The Hoff joining the line-up, it certainly has the makings of something that's completely aware of what it is, so that's encouraging.
