1. The Kryptonite Spear Is In Batman V Superman

The most contentious Batman v Superman plot point among many fans is how the film will conjure up a way for Batman to plausibly beat up Superman, considering that Bats is just a man and Superman is, well, Superman. The smart money has always been on some sort of Kryptonite-fueled suit, and now director Zack Snyder has given us some additional insight on Bats' anti-Superman weaponry. It's been suspected for a little while that the item Batman is holding in this image from one of the trailers is a Kryptonite Spear, and Snyder has now confirmed it, saying in an interview, "when he throws Superman, the spear is right there". We still don't know how Bruce Wayne obtains the Kryptonite (likely either stealing it from Lex Luthor or being gifted it), but this provides at least one way for Batman to get the drop on his super-powered opponent.
