11 Movies That Would Make Great Theme Park Attractions

8. Ted

120629012941-ted-mark-wahlberg-story-top I touched upon this idea in a recent article about Universal Orlando and I genuinely believe that a live show with an animatronic Ted (voiced by Seth MacFarlane lending his voice to the attraction) dishing out the funny lines to an audience would be great fun for the whole family. As Mark Wahlberg wouldn't be available to perform every day, he'd obviously not be there in person, but that wouldn't be the end of the world. Ted could carry the show by himself, or with new characters, or there could be a Wahlberg lookalike, or indeed Wahlberg could simply provide his voice and/or some recorded footage for the attraction. With a Ted sequel being in development for a 2015 release an attraction like this one could serve as a sort of sequel to it, depicting what happened to Ted afterwards. I personally imagine this to be a comedy show, with Ted having moved in to the world of stand-up (seems like natural progression for him to me) €“ but there are many routes that an attraction like this could take. Basically, Ted is a very funny movie with a very likeable and funny character in the lead role and, given the fact that he's not a person, he would be easy to replicate as a "live" animatronic character for an attraction like this. I think it would be wonderful.
