5. The Matrix
There are so many different ways that this could be awesome, I simply can't believe it hasn't been done already. I believe that there has been a very basic walkthrough exhibit displaying some of the movie props at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, but there hasn't been anything close to a ride or a full-on simulated experience based on the Matrix movies. One idea (of many) that could be utilised in a Matrix attraction could be a motion ride on which you could board a hovercraft of sorts and be hurled through the Matrix on a simulator, attempting to avoid Sentinels and other hazards on your way to either the surface or Zion. While waiting in the queue, the area could be themed with all the computers and jack-ins from the movie and the ride would take place in the "cockpit", so to speak. It could utilise 3D and even 4D for a full-spectrum sensory overload, just like the Matrix itself. And the undeniable success of the movie franchise would guarantee its success as an attraction.
