11 Predictions For DC’s 2 Mystery Comic Book Movies

10. Deadshot

With the success of the Punisher€™s appearance on Marvel€™s Daredevil series and the hint of a multi-picture deal for Will Smith with DC, the studio might well be tempted to go the way of the anti-hero themselves.

Having Rick Flag let Headshot escape at the end of Suicide Squad in a Point Break/The Rock style moment would be a great touch, as it would then allow for a spin-off pushing him even further forward.

Rather than having him hunting Batman, the best approach would be to consider the film a Gotham Anthology film, possibly introducing another top-billed villain like Penguin, attempting to gain criminal control of the city. That way you could unleash a Punisher style Deadshot, taking on hits and avoiding detection.

Probability: 6/10

Smith€™s multi-picture deal suggests he€™s coming back and he€™s a big enough name to sell a spin-off. The only issue really is whether DC and Warner Bros need him to headline Suicide Squad 2, making it more likely he€™ll stick around with the team to lead the sequel.
