Back in the day, Robin Williams was box office gold, everything he touched turned to banknote after banknote and the world was a better place with him in it. "Patch Adams" may not have been his best movie but it certainly showcased the Williams charm that we all came to love. Sadly, not everyone bought into it, with the real-life Patch Adams one of the actor's and movie's biggest critic.

The one thing that really bugged real-life Patch Adams was the movie's intention as a whole. Adams stated that the producers only cared about ticket sales and had zero interest in raising the profile of the hospital where the movie was based.

Adams then went on to scathe Williams stating, "He made $21 million for four months of pretending to be me, in a very simplistic version, and did not give $10 to my free hospital. Patch Adams, the person, would have, if I had Robin's money, given all $21 million to a free hospital in a country where 80 million cannot get care."

That's got to hurt.
