11 Things Justice League Must Avoid

6. Executive Meddling

2016 made it abundantly clear that the DCEU's biggest enemy is Warner Bros. executives themselves: they made colossal cuts to Batman v Superman which resulted in an oft-incomprehensible theatrical release, and though the Ultimate Edition still had plenty of problems, it was a solid improvement all the same.

Then Suicide Squad came out and people were convinced it couldn't possibly be any worse, but again, it was harangued by scissor-happy executives who hacked at David Ayer's film with reckless abandon.

Considering that Geoff Johns was hired last May to be the DCEU's "Godfather", hopefully this means that Warner Bros. might relax a little and simply let him straighten the universe out. If not, expect the exact same complaints people had last year to surface once again this November.
