11 Things You Learn Rewatching A View To A Kill

6. Stacey Sutton Is An Annoying & Unnecessary Bond Girl

Tanya Roberts may be an absolutely gorgeous woman, but that's pretty much the basest pre-requisite for a Bond girl and not a quality the franchise has ever struggled to come by.

Roberts' Stacey Sutton, then, is without question one of the most irritating and perfunctory Bond girls in the history of the series, an impotent, dull oil heiress who swears revenge against Zorin for acquiring her oil business.

The main issue is the fact that Sutton has almost zero agency of her own, following 007's lead every step of the way and becoming a typical damsel-in-distress far too many times.

And then there's Roberts' performance, which is forgettable at best and often genuinely wooden, making her easily one of the worst-acted major Bond girls ever, if not the flat-out worst.

Stacey's pleasant to look at, but beyond that simple pleasure she's pretty atrocious.
