11 Things You Learn Rewatching Octopussy

6. Bond Behaves Like A Horny Teenager

Though Roger Moore was 55 years old when Octopussy was filmed, the movie actually does a pretty decent job of papering over his age and not drawing too much attention to it.

However, there is one howlingly out-of-place moment that temporarily makes Moore's age abundantly clear. When Bond has his obligatory meet-up with Q (Desmond Llewelyn) to test out some fancy new gadgets, he plays around with a nifty new video camera, which he uses to zoom in and out on a staff member's breasts.

It makes Bond look like a horndog teenager rather than a dapper spy, and even those who defend the casual sexism of the Bond franchise might find this a little off. Even accepting Bond as the misogynist that he basically is, this seems weirdly childish.
