The Living Daylights also provides some of the best music in the Bond franchise to date, from A-ha's criminally underrated title track to a splendid swan song for legendary franchise composer John Barry.

Barry does a fantastic job jazzing-up the typical Bond leitmotifs with added bass and drum work, emphasising the newfound excitement of a younger, edgier actor taking up 007's mantle.

The tracks "Ice Chase" and "Inflight Fight" in particular are all-timer Bond tunes, employed in their respective action sequences to tremendously pulsing effect. To say that Barry went out on a high with his work here is a huge understatement.
