11 Things You Somehow Missed At Universal Studios Orlando Resort

4. The Hulk's Old Coaster Tracks

Back in 2015 the roaring Incredible Hulk coaster at Islands of Adventure closed for an extensive makeover.

The whole ride was closed so that the ride's track could be replaced with a brand new one. The attraction also received changes to the ride queue, storyline, on ride music and even the ride vehicles. All the new changes helped give the popular attraction a more modern feel without replacing the thrills.

Even though there was a brand new track, Universal didn't scrap every single piece. At the entrance to the ride, guests enter beneath a huge a huge statue of The Hulk pulling apart the track alongside a ride vehicle. The track that Hulk is destroying is actually a piece of the original track that was salvaged.

A great way to recycle what would have otherwise have been scrapped.
