5. Spectre's Whole Plot Leaked Out Due To Sony's Poor Security

The Secret(s): As the movie isn't out yet, you won't find any spoilers here, but needless to say, the cat is pretty much out of the bag regarding Spectre's entire plot, and the truth revolving around Christoph Waltz's Franz Oberhauser character. How It Was Spoiled: The Sony Pictures hack late last year caused an early plot breakdown to leak out, detailing the fates of several major characters, and also uncovering pretty much all the mystery surrounding Oberhauser, as well as how the film ends. Though these leaks also revealed that the final act was still being tinkered with, it's unlikely that the core events were changed much, and as such, for anyone who read them, Spectre probably won't be serving up many surprises this October.
