7. Rhino

Rhino is something of an anomaly on this list as the character has already appeared in the main body of a movie (The Amazing Spider-Man 2). The problem is, the nature of the appearance meant we literally saw nothing of what the character is truly capable of in this continuity. At the start of the movie, Paul Giamatti showed up as Aleksei Sytsevich, who was attempting to steal a truck containing plutonium vials, and Spider-Man apprehended him relatively easily. It wasn't until the end that he showed up as Rhino, having been recruited to be a part of the Sinister Six group who will be the main antagonists in future movies in the franchise. He rampaged through the streets of New York, essentially just trampling things, but just as he was about to face off with Spider-Man in an epic fight, the screen cut to black and left the audience hanging. This take on the character - which resembles the Ultimate version more than anything - is quite exciting, as it's a lot less silly then the classic version (who, frankly, wouldn't work in a live action movie) and viewers can't wait to get a real taste of what he's capable of and how he will fit in to the Sinister Six's ultimate plans for evil domination.
