11 Werewolf Movies That Broke All The Rules

Good Manners is the most recent werewolf movie on this list, and it's also one of the strangest, as it doesn't follow many of the genre's rules. In most werewolf movies, the beast is a representation of the primal rage of an adult male, but Good Manners' monster is a child.

The film begins with a woman named Clara interviewing for a nanny job, which she gets only after helping Ana through some pregnancy pain. She continues to help her but notices some odd behavior. When Ana sleepwalks, she becomes passionate and somewhat violent while craving meat and blood.

Ana dies before she can properly deliver the baby, which comes into the world Alien-style. Clara finds the child in Ana's ruptured abdomen, and it's a werewolf. She takes the baby and raises him while keeping him safe (and chained up during the full moon).

Fast-forward seven years and the young boy/werewolf becomes determined to find his father. This leads to an outing under a beautiful full moon, a transformation, and killing, and a Frankenstein's Monster level of anger in the townspeople. Good Manners manages to upend numerous werewolf rules while creating several of its own in the process.
