Charlie (Ewen Bremner) is a surprisingly interesting supporting character in Wonder Woman considering that he's not even credited with a surname.

Though an excellent marksman, Charlie suffers from overwhelming PTSD, which drives him to drink excessively to cope with his debilitating mental illness.

Aside from the fact that this frequently results in Charlie getting into bar fights which could easily result in his death one day, the drinking will most certainly put him into an early grave if his depression and PTSD don't.

Though Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) undeniably lifts his spirits, the physical damage may already be done, and depression doesn't care if you're friends with a superhero or not.

Sure, in the present-day era of the DCEU Charlie's obviously dead anyway, but it's unlikely he had an especially long life or peaceful demise.
