12 3D Film Re-Releases That Must Happen

1. The Dark Knight Trilogy

That's right. How awesome would that be? Batman flying around Gotham in 3D! The destruction of the monorail, the showdown with the Joker on the streets after the amazing chase, all of Bane's many stunts, Two-Face, Catwoman, the Tumbler and the Batpod! In 3D! If you're a fan of 3D, there's no denying that The Dark Knight Trilogy deserves the treatment. The second and third films each made over $1 billion at the box office and there was a lot to add in home media sales, still ongoing, so there would clearly be an audience just to see the films on the big screen again. Let alone in 3D. Nolan has argued against 3D for a story such as Batman, that the intimacy of watching 3D is incompatible with the larger-than-life characters of Batman, something that the currently untitled Batman vs Superman film will answer in 2016, also saying that he didn't make The Dark Knight Rises in 3D in order to stay consistent with the other two films. So why not (you guessed it) complete the set by doing it all at once? Whether you're a fan of 3D or not, The Dark Knight Trilogy and all of the other films in this list would look spectacular if given the re-do, and if not then we can only hope that home 3D conversion comes sooner rather than later! Are there any other films you would like to see given the 3D treatment? Let us know in the comments!
