12 3D Film Re-Releases That Must Happen

11. A Bug's Life

Along with WALL·E and Cars, A Bug's Life is the only Pixar film not already lined up for a 3D do-over, which is odd since it's their second-oldest film, originally released way back in 1998. Perhaps the folks over at Disney don't think that A Bug's Life would be popular enough to make the re-do worthwhile, but within a few years nearly all of Pixar's films will be in 3D and it would be great to have a complete set. Cars will probably be 3D-ized at some point, especially now that Cars 3 is in the making (for some reason following the atrocious Cars 2), but it isn't being given a full place on this list because it is the Pixar film least in need of a re-release. Sure, Ratatouille wasn't that great either, but it was very sweet and rather original, whereas Cars just... wasn't. A Bug's Life would be wonderful to see in 3D with the swarms of grasshoppers flying around, Bug City and the cavernous ant hill, so hopefully Pixar will treat us too it sooner or later, perhaps if they run out of other films to give sequels and start on A Bug's Life 2. But enough about Pixar...
